On Dec. 6, 1917 at 8:45 a.m., the Imo and Mont-Blanc (which was packed with explosives) collided in Halifax Harbour.
At 9:05 a.m., the Mont-Blanc exploded. The 2.9 kiloton blast levelled most of Halifax, killed 1,700 and injured 9,000.
This is the story.

this makes me not want to use any trail where horses are allowed, they're allowed to leave poop wherever they want AND you have to come to a complete stop if one shows up?

idk I just thought a book called a dog in Georgia with dogs on the cover would be more about dogs and less about Russian/georgian history. the history part is interesting to learn about but not when I expected dogs!

so this just asks "if 87% of exec work can be replaced by AI, are execs themselves the least worthwhile part of any business?"
or maybe I'm reading it wrong because I'm not a CAPTAIN OF INDUSTRY
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.
