Two new NIHR funding calls announced today. To test behavioural interventions to treat anxiety disorders in children and young people, and adults with moderate to severe learning disability (including autistic and non-autistic). 2-stage process, stage 1 deadline 30/07. Links in comments.

I’m aware of that. I was replying to the comment that NHS England isn’t being abolished, although it is, and being reabsorbed by DHSC. There are many overlapping functions that will be easy to identify and cut, but many that after 13 years of separation no longer have direct duplications.

It hasn’t yet but the plan is for it to be merged with DHSC within two years, so that all functions are owned by DHSC and NHS England does not exist.
