I've thought on many occasions how funny it will be to listen to the songs from my youth when I'm old.

I've been so used to my grandparents listening to jazz in the background of every family event meanwhile I'll be playing offspring, RTJ, Lil Jon, etc. Gonna be great.

It's probably partially because leo is Leo lol. Simple as that. But he just felt awkward and didn't seem to ever really take it seriously. Which, I guess, is probably more about how they wrote the character (and probably what they intended)
