the main character is repellent but Rudolf Hrušínský's performance, especially his voice, is so hypnotic. his speech moves from voice over to dialogue seemlessly, almost like a connective tissue for the frenetic editing.

im absolutely in love with the editing and camera work. lots of really fast cuts, extreme close ups and long shots, and scenes melting into each other without warning

just watched The Cremator and what an incredible film. a portrait of the appeal of nazism to insecure men obsessed with image and fascism's desire for smoothing one's experience of the world, removing all nuances and discomforts until it becomes a death cult.

this heart. is everywhere. your heart does not sit this way in your body, you can't see the left ventricle from this angle and the aorta is all twisted.

this heart. is everywhere. your heart does not sit this way in your body, you can't see the left ventricle from this angle and the aorta is all twisted.

ooh weirdest thing... idk if this is exactly answering your question, but this aorta anomaly was one of the weirdest things i've drawn because i did not know it could do that.

i have a ton of reference books i love to use! :D i also have a few 3D models i like to use for figuring out compositions. and actually google images and YouTube sometime do have useful references! but you do need to know what terms to use and what you're looking for and what isn't trustworthy
