Kinda pissed me off when a band was being asked if they could have something cheaper for sale, like having leftovers of the event posters that go on the street etc to sell, and the answer was "yeah, but if we have cheaper stuff, we might not sell the expensive ones". Well, fuck you too, I guess.

I noped out when they went from 20-25€ to 35€, and this was a long while ago. The problem with everyone trying to squeeze as much as possible from who's under in the chain is that sooner or later even fans are going to be priced out.

When expansion packs were a thing, publishers would only release a "gold edition" a couple of years down the line, and the content would be the same as having the original game + expansion. Doing the original release + dlc > Complete > Remaster > Definitive dance was always going to end this way.

... and comedians were the only ones who were allowed to question the government. Stewart, Colbert, Sam Seder, even someone like Seth MacFarlane seemed to be the only ones who could say something about how ridiculous the US was becoming.

Not american, but as someone who mostly watched things from the cultural hegemon at that time, I kinda feel it was the Iraq War 2, where it felt all the serious people (politicians, journalists) had to bow their head and agree Saddam was behind 9/11 and Cheney wasn't a lying piece of shit...

recall someone saying they thought it wasn't that bad, saw the cheque their kid got from the label and adjusted to inflation it was even a bit more than what they got 30 years before. Until he said that wasn't his, he had to pay expenses and _then_ split it three way with the rest of the band.

Also, I'm not sure if that's World Trophy Soccer, the game had it's own version in Japan with J-League clubs. For Mobygames, they're all the same game, for some reason.

I'll always defend LAH as a movie who came 15 years too soon for anyone to know what they should have been doing (deconstruction of 80s steroid films), but learning the game, which came 10 years too late to be that shit, was put on rental first explains so many bad decisions.

And I find that unlikely, my main theory on how a popular 90s and 2000s TV writer ended up completely ostracised from the community is that people like Moran tried to get him off the ledge but he's the one who pushed them aside in favor of Mumsnet weirdos who think he's another weirdo.

I once was trying to figure out why something wasn't working on someone's elaborate TV + Hifi + VCR + Satellite + Cable decoder box + Game Console, and there were three cables not connected to anything, just hanging around tangled with the ones that were.

Retrogaming channels have to change because it is a crowded field, and there's a good chance if someone is thinking of a topic, someone else already did one and it is probably better than they could come up with. I think so many have turned to streaming instead of regular videos because of that.
