At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

According to a survey that YouGov conducted in seven EU countries, there’s a rift in how European nations perceive the threat of Russia, security and their general reluctance to rearm under Brussels’ supervision 👇

This week’s short Europe Dispatch with @phillipspobrien.bsky.social:

Deterrence by denial doesn’t work in hybrid warfare because denying effect doesn’t stop Russia from continuing the attacks. What a nice life we all could have had if Russia had just become a normal country after the Cold War. Alas
The Resilience Dilemma
In this week’s Europe Dispatch, Minna Ålander reflects on the fact that deterrence by resilience clearly does not work.

It's all kicked off in Georgia.

The protest march descended into violence as darkness fell.

Water cannons were used by police to try to disperse the crowd, some of whom were trying to get to the Presidential Palace in Tbilisi.

Very impressive crowd marching through central Tbilisi today.

They've travelled far and wide for the demo to give power to the people. It coincides with farcical mayoral elections. Having seen the parliamentary elections rigged, the people gave up on trusting Russia's puppet regime.

I don't forget about Georgia today.

Huge civil march today in Tbilisi.

Protesters say they're "reclaiming freedom." A declaration will be adopted by the Georgian people, "from that moment the power will be in the hands of the people."

Erstatningen til minkavlerne er ca 29,2 mia kr.

Nu forbyder EU minkavl.

Russia was kicked out of the G8 in March 2014 exactly BECAUSE it launched its war in Ukraine by invading and forcibly annexing Crimea.
Trump with Mark Carney: "The G7 used to be the G8. Barack Obama and a person named Trudeau didn't want to have Russia in, and I would say that was a mistake, because I think you wouldn't have a war right now if you had Russia in."
