Once accidentally using the work email account to address personal administrative issues really served me to reveal just how much more willing people are to help if they think you are *someone*, or more precisely: how unwilling they would be to be this forthcoming to a “normal costumer”.

Aber so gut wie ALLE, die gestorben sind, waren geimpft. Gut, Orangensaft haben die auch alle irgendwann in ihrem Leben getrunken, ist also schwer zu sagen, obs die Impfungen oder der Orangensaft war, der sie dahingerafft hat.

I propose going by columns instead of row by row. Everyone on the window and middle seats stays down until the aisle seats have deboarded. It has the added bonus of temporarily ripping groups apart so we’re spared them standing in the aisle to discuss their entire life plans.

It was a masterpiece, one of those horror movies that was terrifying as hell and gory, but funny and deep, so well crafted that I’ll be thinking about it for quite a while, and filmed so brilliantly that I want to see the behind the scenes because some scenes must have been challenging and fun.

Do I have to go to mount doom or can I order a mini-furnace? Not feeling up for a road trip, but totally on board with destroying evil (as long as I can stay comfy at home doing it, and not actually do anything). Even better: can I get an Uber to bring a pizza and take the thing to Mount Doom?

Yes! If I say “I never get bored” I mean I’ll do anything (like getting another degree despite a full time job) to keep myself busy enough to not feel bored, to avoid tasks that bore me into burnt-out frustration, and to ensure deadlines keep me going on adrenaline if my brain runs out of dopamine

There are about 5 books in my TBR right now that I’ve ONLY heard about here, sometimes just because it was mentioned by someone in one of the “this week I’m reading…” threads. Does that help with sales? Probably not, but my wallet definitely feels the difference.

Scissors can substitute a knife (don’t ask...I absolutely wasn’t cutting a pastry in half with scissors because they were right there and a knife wasn’t right there). So by default, anything can also be a knife if you try hard enough.

I love colorful socks. But I need my socks to match and can’t maintain matching pairs. I fish through a Sock Pile until I have matching socks. So all my Bearable Socks Meant to Be Worn™️ are identical and black because the fishing is easier that way. I have pretty pairs to look at and a pile to use.
