It's good to hear there are a few things that go too far, and I am thankful he broke with the party. But, it's a pretty low bar and there was a time when all but very few would have done the same as Rep Massie. That's how far the party has sunk. Trump and MAGA have poisoned them.

I just watched Manhunt on Apple TV. It's about the hunt for John Wilkes Booth following Lincoln's assassination. There was a Dept of War during the Civil War. Is that where they got the idea?

This is so unbelievable. Trump is moving money around as if there is no Constitution and no Congress. We have no idea where it is going. What happened to the SNAP Contingency fund - 5 billion dollars? Where is it? Can they show it is where it should be or is it gone?

I absolutely love what Newsom is doing. Every democrat should be brave enough to troll Trump and MAGA. He shows Trump and MAGA how ridiculous they are.

If he is the nominee I will vote for him and work for him. It’s so hard to think years head. During Covid I tuned into Cuomo’s daily briefings never imagining I would find him to be a disgusting sexual abuser. I don’t expect that from Newsome. Just realizing there is time before 2028.

I agree. I did get into a long Bluesky dialog with someone who told me I knew nothing and Newsome is terrible. I want to recognize that I only know the trolling and not actually where he stands on issues that are important to me. For now, I appreciate the trolling. I will decide later on all else.

I will say that I don't believe everyone can be wealthy under capitalism. Most don't achieve it, but it is possible under capitalism. At the same time capitalism does seem to me to be survival of the fittest.

As I said, I don't even know that I would vote for him in the primary. I just appreciate the trolling and the fighting back when it seems that so few are brave enough to risk their political future and are so cautious. There is so much time before we consider this. But, dems need to fight.
