I went back to the district last year after working at a Charter, which is a public/free school. They pushed ahead 7 students that were illiterate. They were mostly behavior problems. The behavior comes from not being able to read!! They get bored and act out. They should have held them back!

All of that. I worked at a school for 5 years, Title 1 HOPE school.The only time some of them are was at school.

I have one that fights constantly with another child, or just melts down. It's heartbreaking.
