Last weekend I started self-hosting @ente.io as a privacy-friendly and E2E-encrypted alternative to iCloud Photos.
It was pretty easy to set up and is incredibly fast. The apps feel mature, and hosting the photos in an S3-compatible storage makes it cheap too.
So far I am super happy with it.

We just released #Macrowave for macOS 1.1.2, which includes a bunch of improvements for macOS Tahoe 26 and several small bug fixes.

People seem to enjoy Macrowave’s new ephemeral P2P chat feature. There is obvious room for improvement, which we will work on in the coming weeks.

Today I played around with Embedded #Swift to build a hello world app for the #Pebble and was able to run it on my almost 10 year old Pebble Time Round.

Created a little demo mode for #Macrowave to make it easier for us to take screenshots and create screen recordings. Once enabled, it automatically overrides certain labels for nicer demo assets.

We are currently working on the next big #Macrowave feature for macOS and iOS. A private P2P chat room that's available for all listeners and the broadcaster. The chat is ephemeral and is only stored as long as the station is on air.
