✨ New paper from National Voices!

Take a read of Covering the fall-out: National Voices' members' concerns surrounding the decision to abolish NHS England and cut ICB running costs by 50%👇

✉️ It would be great to hear reflections and thoughts on the paper, and as the restructure unfolds.

I spent the start of the week pulling together a briefing full of insights so kindly shared by members.

Hearing about their concerns re the abolition, the impact on beneficiaries, & opportunities to cement patient voice in the restructure, reiterated the need to get this right from the outset.

Today marks the launch of the new VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance Impact Report! 🚀

Dig a little deeper into the report (which I dusted off my comms BA to design!), to see how HWA members have engaged with almost 10,000 people, to collaboratively tackle barriers faced too often in healthcare.

🧵

🗣️ Almost 10,000 people experiencing health inequalities have had their voices heard in national policy making via #HWAlliance activity.

Our new report explores the successes and impact of the #HWAlliance in developing inclusive health and care policy.

On the left, against a circular, orange gridded background, reads text, in white, VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance Impact Report By the numbers. To the right, you see three icons. A speech bubble, a handshake and a lightbulb and cog. To the right of the speech bubble icon there is a text box outlined in black. Text reads: 9,677 People experiencing health and care inequalities have had their voices heard in national policy via Alliance activity. To the right of that, at the top right of the image, you see the VCSE health and wellbeing alliance logo. To the right of the handshake icon, another textbox, it reads: 1,415 VCSE organisations, faith groups, and local community groups co-led or supported HW Alliance projects. At the bottom, next to the lightbulb and cog icon: 63 Policy leads from teams across NHSE, DHSC and UKHSA directly partnered with HW Alliance work projects. At the bottom right of the graphic reads the text, coordinated by, followed by National Voices’ and NAVCA's logos.
