Few hiccups along the way, should have RTFM 🤦
Figured out BMC as didn’t have vga monitor, went round in circles thinking CPU wasn’t seated right. Tested in another machine all good. In the end turns out it was the ram slot config
Only 1/2 GPUs connected, bifurcation can wait until tomorrow

Using these SlimSAS 8i pcie 4x16 risers with their own 6 pin 12v power connectors via sata adapter
Each card connects two sff 8654 cables. With bifurcation turned on it should be possible to use a single cable per GPU running at 4x8 speed. Fast enough for inference
