On the last day I worked with him, he was working so fast with no breaks and leaving Everything like shit, his heart started to hurt near the end of the fucking shift, I told him to slow it down and he didn’t listen to me. Thankfully it was closing cuz Jesus fucking Christ

Note, he signed up for a PART TIME job, of course he wasn’t gonna get enough money! He also made my old boss print his resume without specifying it was a resume, my boss had to read it to figure it out when the guy left him alone with it.

More context that at the start of the year, the main guy Mephiles is based on was chill, and quit to give his friend who was hired with him more hours, eventually tho the other guy wasn’t doing so well and quit since he wasn’t given enough money.

He was actually hired at the beginning of the year, then quit, then was rehired, and he kinda showed off that he was a rehire. He was also definitely a nepo baby as my fellow coworkers heard he has the money to sue anyone. Plus he for some reason didn’t turn on the AC in his car

He only worked here for like a month or two before he quit and drove everyone insane, we never saw him again but he didn’t get any karma for his actions against my Coworkers, I wish anyone who hires him good luck because ya in for a wild ride.

The ending is bittersweet and different to The AU, while he is gone, we rarely had a chance to tell him off and he took our Kindness for granted, My manager was trying to be nice to him and so was I but he took it as us babying him since he had Autism (so he claims).

The last straw was my last day working with him when he overwhelmed my new manager and was insulting how she worked which gave her a mental breakdown, he eventually quit the next weekend but if I could I would’ve given him a piece of my mind.

Mephiles is actually based on 3 people at once, all 3 of these coworkers were hired on different days but relate to each other, one left me alone on a work day so my boss had to cover it, the main one he’s based on was rude to my coworkers left and right, and the third is his GF

I rarely worked with him but when I did, or what I heard from fellow coworkers, he was just trying to complain about everything and tried to be the manager despite us trying to be nice to him. We tell him to slow down and take his time, he’d say no or call it time theft.

Oh boy here we go, The Coworker Mephiles is based on did actually do these things, or almost did, he was given simple jobs to clean and dust off places but he was always SO rough on the display cases it felt like he was going to break them.
