Oh thank you so much! Yes that defintiely was what caused it to be deleted! I haven't touched Maya in long time, so I completely forgot about those options at the bottom!

The clean-up unfortunately doest fix my issue but at least im 1 step further now.

Thanks for the tip, it did give this try I even exported it with different formats etc serval times unfortunately always the same issues :/

Thanks for the advice! I will definitely give it a try. I finally figured out why the clean up deletes the mesh, but for some reason it claims some of the faces are non-manifold geometry eventhough they are 4-sided and the vertices and be edited just fine.

Thanks for the tip, I already did this twice and the mesh test always displays 0 issues I also run the "fix mesh" option just to be safe..
I want to add thickness in maya through the extrude command but using this completely destroys the mesh in all directions & clean up just deletes all but 1 poly

Any Maya experts here by any chance? 👀
If so, I exported an OBJ mesh from Zbrush into Maya and upon running a mesh clean up Maya simply decides to delete the entire mesh... What could be the reason for this?

There is no way of 100% knowing until you've tried unfortunately, but with our cat (he was older already when we got Yuki) it worked fine it took some adjusting from him but it worked.
A good thing to do when trying is to make sure there is dedicated "cat space" the dog can't reach/isn't allowed

Soo due to waking up today to my dog having a giant hematoma formed in her ear overnight which will most likely need a small surgery, I decided to open one additional slot!

I had it checked no infection it just happened spontaneously or she banged her ear somewhere. She is pretty old already and the vet said it tends to happen with old age
