my studies, it makes me wonder what new things I will learn in the next 6 months too. It’s nice to have something to move forward to instead of shambling through day to day.

I don’t talk about personal stuff too often as this is mostly just my art page, so don’t mind the ramblings lol (3, fin)

Plus I just love history. Theres something oddly comforting it all and the Stoic community is fantastic (not the weird grind/hustle dude-bro culture, the philosopher and academic nerds are where it’s at)

Six months ago, I got into philosophy & fell in love. I read my first book on Stoicism & I was hooked. It reminded me a lot of my dad & his teachings and that was comforting.
Am I becoming a better person? For me, yes. More boundaries, less people pleasing, & controlling negative emotions (1)

I’ve always been an early riser. My usual wake up time was 6:30am, but for the past week I’ve joined the 5am club.

The difference an hour makes (for me) is astounding.

My head feels clearer, chores I’m too tired to do after work are done, things are clean, I eat breakfast & work out…it’s amazing

It’s almost 3am, I’ve been up since 2am.

They say if you can’t sleep, just get up and do something so you aren’t laying in bed staring at the ceiling.

I got up and got two sketches out of the remaining 3 I needed to get done, so that’s exciting
