After many tests and specialist visits, the longcovid clinician told me that it was likely my symptoms were due to damage in the fine nerve endings in my chest. Patience, slow return to exercise, and a regimen of supplements helped the nerve cells heal eventually.

Sounds like our symptoms are a little different, but I didn’t see improvement in my longCovid for quite a while.

Brain fog started letting up at around the 4-month mark, but the chest pain, PEM, and shortness of breath didn’t start to improve until month 11. But it did improve!
