Daughter, Sister, Friend, Wife, Mother, Grandmother - Appalled at the continued MAGA movement and current regime. Working on finding peace within.
No DMs.
Talked to therapist today for first time in a long while. Cried again over loss of my good friend this past year. Now I feel totally exhausted. Loss and grief are so hard.

Pain and headaches this past month have been from flare of carpal tunnel syndrome. Finally scheduled to get injections, yet not until after son’s wedding. 😞

Not bad for the lit Louisville city area and being on a hill with obstructed views. But my brother in Lanesville has fabulous views.

Kentucky, we need drivers traveling around the Paducah area to avoid westbound I-24, which is completely closed and will be for an estimated 6 hours due to a major semi accident. Eastbound I-24 is also moving slowly. Please plan ahead and use alternative routes.1/2

My grandkids have been up since 5:30 or so. Youngest woke crying around 2 am. I am running on fumes. They certainly don’t know how to be quiet.

45 minutes trying to get the grandkids to settle down and sleep. Ugh! Still not there. Lots of whining, arguing between them. Love them but

Watching Where the Lilies Bloom. The film was released in 1974. I was 7. I vaguely remember it. Not sure if I watched that summer or if I was a bit older. And trying to recall if I ever read the book.

View from my front door a bit earlier. The stench is horrible. Staying put with windows shut. So tragic. Prayers for the UPS employees, those on board and our Louisville area.

This doesn't seem to have quite broken through into the shutdown discourse yet (unlike say SNAP). But as temperatures drop it's going to become a serious issue apnews.com/article/gove...

More than 47 million Americans — including one in five children — don’t have reliable, affordable access to nutritious food. And as the cost of living skyrockets, more families are depending on SNAP benefits, or food stamps, to put food on the table.
