Because you do seem like you genuinely want to understand things - the reason why everybody is jumping down your throat with such anger right now is because you responded to a female geologist (whose bio here clearly indicates her expertise) and "corrected" her on a subject that you are ignorant of

Measles looks like this. My mother’s left hand, wasted by a bout of measles in the early 1940’s.

Mom lost use of her left hand and wrist. Grandma taught her how to knit and play the piano, thru which Mom regained most use of her wrist as well as her pinkie, ring, & middle fingers.

Just imagining how much better it would be if ALL news stories about vaccine-preventable illnesses were illustrated with pictures of people with the disease, not pictures of needle injections. If you must show something that people will find scary & unpleasant, make it the disease, not the cure.
I'm so tired of measles.

I'm also tired of people using needle shots on stories like this.

Show what measles looks like.

I despise... DESPISE... when Democrats lie based on the assumption constituents won't know. That is what @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social does here.
"Republicans will never allow articles of impeachment to be brought to the floor of the House of Representatives, and we know that's the case."

This is a flat-out 100% lie from @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social and he knows it. Impeachment resolutions are privileged, they can force a vote at any time.
For some reason Democratic leaders seem to prefer telling voters what they won’t be able to do, rather than what they’d like to do.

If Hegseth ordered a war crime and lied about it, shouldn’t Ds try for impeachment? Put Rs on the spot. They might get a few defections.

He also sees the utter weakness of D leaders. A sure PR W — pursuing impeachment of Hegseth (+ exposing the lawless actions of this regime) Ds give up out of the gate. Jeffries, WTF?! 🤯

Remember in May when Trump gave asylum to 17 family members of the Sinaloa cartel after making a deal with El Chapo’s son? And did you know in 2013, El Chapo bribed Juan Hernandez- who trump just pardoned - in exchange for protection in Honduras? I’m sure it’s all just a coincidence.
