I have been on many such protests and never seen or heard any such scenes. On the contrary, there are many Jewish people there, including these.

Agree! Met him in 1996 at CERN (European Laboratory for Particle Physics) on a Science Committee visit. The importance of international collaboration, as at CERN, for human potential was mentioned in our Report. I’m sure @zackpolanski.bsky.social would get inspiration from a visit to CERN!

Disgusted. Ordinary people should be paying less tax - Rooker-Wise amendment, inflation proofing tax allowances needs to be reintroduced. Audrey Wise, one of my political heroes died in 2000 but Jeff Rooker is a Labour Peer but largely toes the line.

Was privileged to be able to attend this event thanks to the wonderful @faizashaheen.bsky.social for organising. Met her at Labour Party Conference in 2018 after I sat next to her sister. Brilliant! Sincere speaking from Zara and Zack was inspiring as ever.
