Just to be clear: armed government agents are allowed to wear masks, balaclavas, and glasses that completely hide their identities as they disappear people off streets and out of public places, but students can't wear masks while protesting even in approved "time, manner, and place".

I realized yesterday that in agnostically raising my kids, I had left stuff out. there was a prayer wall and prayer before the Thanksgiving event yesterday, my 10 and 7yo didn't know what to do. I explained that prayer was setting intention and gratitude and that amen meant sealing that intention.

Yes the black Friday ads are out. Please please don't buy from Amazon, target, Walmart or the home depot. Please support independent makers and retailers and purchase 2nd hand. I know there are retailers deserts. When we lived in Wyoming we survived with prime and Walmart. We have options here now.

After seeing the trailer for the Hamish hunger games prequel, I watched songbirds and snakes last night. I was struck by the visual mood change compared to the originals & I looked it up. The originals were filmed in north Carolina (warm Moody gorgeous) to Poland and Berlin (Stark angular haunting)

This was a turkey where FRESHLY CHOPPED ONIONS were replaced with the same proportion of DRIED ONION FLAKES.
