I love my Obama alum pals, but…
…in addition to under-investing down ballot & in party infrastructure, Obama World convinced left-leaning donors to care most about dollars-per-net-Dem-vote. Campaigns aren’t efficiency contests! They don’t award the office to candidate who spends least per-vote!

I’ve been watching the Superman movies and even years after first seeing it, I am still annoyed that Lois Lane is only interested in the glow-up version of Clark Kent.

I don’t know what made me think of this but years ago I had a 1:1 meeting with a Dominion Energy exec. His office looked out on a cemetery so while we were settling in, I gestured toward the window and said “I figured you knew where all of the bodies were buried”
