In this paper we use a new approach from control theory (engineering), a "disturbance observer", to see if it can be applied to visuomotor adaptation. This "DO model" is doing reasonably well.

Thrilled to see our TinyRNN paper in @nature! We show how tiny RNNs predict choices of individual subjects accurately while staying fully interpretable. This approach can transform how we model cognitive processes in both healthy and disordered decisions. doi.org/10.1038/s415...

Just so u know, these 'military ppl' & 'nuclear scientists' don't live in a cave, tucked away from the rest of the population. They live in residential areas, AMONG ordinary ppl. Media reports are quite disingenuous & outrageous...

& to be clear, Israel has no right doing what it's doing.

Our paper is now accepted at Neural Networks!

This work builds on our previous threads in X, updated with deeper analyses.

We revisit brain-to-image reconstruction using NSD + diffusion models—and ask: do they really reconstruct what we perceive?

We’re celebrating 5 years of building a global movement for Black neuroscientists — and we need your support to keep it going. 🧠💛

Help support #BlackInNeuro as we grow our impact in academia, industry, and public health.
A visually bold graphic with a dark green background and colorful geometric patterns along the sides. Large orange text in the center reads, “SUPPORT BLACK IN NEURO.” Below the text is the Black In Neuro logo. The design uses warm and vibrant colors like orange, pink, yellow, and blue. A graphic titled "Black In Neuro 2025 Sponsorship Opportunities" with the subtitle "Celebrating 5 Years of Black In Neuro." The text explains the significance of Black In Neuro Week 2025 (BINW25) in celebrating and empowering Black neuroscientists in academia, industry, and public health. It emphasizes the organization’s year-round programming focused on equity, education, and community, and highlights that support helps fund in-person events in Washington, D.C., and ongoing programs. The background is dark green with colorful geometric patterns on the sides and includes the Black In Neuro logo at the bottom.
