In 2024, I conducted three polls to determine Canada's Favourite Invention, TV Show and Song.
Collectively, there were 2.5 million votes cast in the three contests. And three great winners emerged :)
Looking forward to the polls of 2025!

In case anyone asks you at the water-cooler today, the answer is:

"Yes, the 2-year running mean for the global surface temperature anomaly is now 1.53°C above the 1850-1900 IPCC pre-industrial baseline, according to Copernicus data."

Is Santa Claus Canadian?
While some would argue he is a citizen of the world, he actually does have Canadian citizenship.
I thought it would be interesting to see the evidence that Santa Claus is in fact Canadian.

Three groups of coyotes where we live. Heard simultaneously from 3 different directions this evening. The neighbour’s kitten Caramel was eaten when he went outside last week. Taken right outside his door. I am worried. Thoughts?

One week to Christmas. Beautiful Amaryllis. But above 0 and no snow here on Prince Edward Island. 🤷 I’m looking at green grass through my window. Thoughts?

Very near catastrophe here. 😱 It’s 6:30 am, my mouse is dead and there are no batteries, the coffee is made but there is no milk, and the corner store doesn’t open until 7. 🥹
