The UCP is taking away universal healthcare for Albertans one small step at a time & hoping its comatose base doesn't notice. Well, hopefully, a few of them are waking up to the con job the UCP has been pulling on them. The UCP doesn't care about anything that doesn't come with an Oil &Gas sticker!

Japan is still buying US debt, Canada and Japan will also dump American treasuries like they are poison if Trump makes a deal on Ukraine with Russia while throwing Ukraine under the bus. The only way this works out with America not getting completely fucked is Russia gets out of Ukraine!

Maybe, EU threatening to dump trillions of dollars of US debt if Trump makes 'Putin' friendly Ukraine deal. Would create bigger crash than 2008 and 'biggly' decrease dollar value.
All which would dump HIS world projects and deals.
It's the ONLY thing Trump cares about, HIS MONEY.

I do not hold a membership to any political party in Canada and I can tell you PM Carney is out there doing EXACTLY what I voted for him to do— someone with economic literacy to build relationships for Canada around the USA. That was my top job for him.

Cost per hr:
Gripen - $5,800
F35 - $35,000.
Lets say 1000hrs per year per plane.
Gripen - $5,800,000
F35 - $35,000,000
72 planes
Gripen - $417,600,000
F35 - $2,520,000,000
Gripen savings - $2,102,400,000 per year.
That's $2.1 billion per year saved.
There is far more to this than jobs.
Saab is offering the intellectual property and full control of the Gripens we buy.
That alone should be enough to seal the deal.
The Canadian companies that make parts for the F35 could easily make parts for the Gripen.

Well isn’t he a bucket of empathy.
I can agree that it should frighten us that families can’t afford to feed their families but nothing else.

What he is saying is a that assistance to the public from any level of government shouldn’t happen but assistance such as corporate welfare is a good thing!

It is actually, or should be the government’s place to feed starving children. Not to give handouts to big corporations on the promise of jobs created. Businesses theoretically used to stand on their “own two feet” as well. I wish the cons would stop wishing us back to a theoretical 1950s utopia.
