I paid about half of full tuition. But the education was wonderful and much better than undergrad at a German university

I didn’t go to a regular college but my liberal arts college was about $45,000 a year, including room and food. The German uni im az for this masters is about $4000 a year (Baden Württemberg charges tuition for internationals)

Also it’s hard to split horse manure from the other animals in the cities at the time. Lots of livestock being brought to urban slaughterhouses

Doesn’t really take that many horses to make a lot of poop! And those were mostly in the horse tramway era. Not individual riders

Frankly, he is too good of a politician to not have been aware. Perhaps he thought it was the only way, but he definitely chose to allow at least some corruption in his inner circle

Involved? Who knows. But I think it’s hard to argue he wasn’t at least tacitly aware that his chief of staff, business partner from before the presidency, and others did things that would enrich him personally via his production company

I mean actually fighting it would require charging Zelenskyy. Who most certainly allowed all of this, and tried to kill the anti corruption agency before being forced to leave it by the EU and public protest
