SO... I'm pretty much done with Fortnite. There were statements made by Tim Sweeney saying that AI usage doesn't need to be disclosed, and then AI usage was found all over this current season- from art to sprays to in-game songs. Between that, and the upcoming shitty wizard collab... Yeah, I'm done.

As someone that worked a call center for a large company in the past I can say this is effective. The call center contracts are very specific about performance. Unresolved calls and calls from irate callers matter. It actually gets to high levels pretty fast. Keep going!
Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.

This is an awful idea to implement for many reasons, but the main being if this was charge backed, it would be devestating for the streamer..
but also, if you're going to gift more than 5 subs, it's better to just tip directly to the streamer through ko-fi or other means.
