A little research/inspiration for a possible game I’m running for the Jerry Stefek Crawl for the Cure next month! #dccrpg

I should take better session notes, because we had another great session of Impossible Landscapes. I’m not sure what session number it is, but it’s definitely one of the longest running games I’ve run in recent history without getting gaming ADD. One of the best experiences as a GM, for sure.

New ep!

Ryan sits down with @joeyroyale.bsky.social to talk WHPA, crowdfunding, skirmish games, and their current project for Mausritter Month: Tails from the Night Market, a collection of three darkly whimsical pamphlet adventures full of mystery and horror beneath a carnival’s painted smile.

I should know better than to debate RPG mechanics with strangers, but I just got hit with a rebuttal that is essentially “roll dice better, noob.”

I have a few cons coming up. I want to run games, but I’m actually not excited to run anything. I’m going through my Rolodex of games and adventures, and nothing is hitting.

Arc Raiders is a lot of fun so far. I’m not a big extraction shooter guy, but I loved exploring, hiding from bots and sometimes other players.

Anyone who lives in Maine have an opinion on Graham Platner? Of course, I donated to his campaign two days before his tattoo story dropped. As an infantry vet, I have thoughts. I don’t think he’s a Nazi, but I do think he’s lying about not knowing the meaning of his tattoo. (1)

Marzio is a terrific writer and Zothique is going to be fantastic.

Ghosts of Yotei feels even more like an open world somehow than Tsushima did. My one gripe is that some of the boss fights are cheesy on Hard, like the game is cheating.

Name some Horrror TTRPGs that aren’t investigation based.

Another great session of Impossible Landscapes in the books. I’d love to run this again for another group with lessons learned from this iteration. Right now I’m considering the consequences for the Agents burning down a house in broad daylight, with a monster inside that might dice up some firemen.

Two sessions into Part 2 of Impossible Landscapes for Delta Green, and this might end up being the best campaign I will ever run. #deltagreen #ttrpg #haveyouseenthesign

As a grumpy old man who has a love/hate relationship with the Alien franchise, the first episode of Alien:Earth was good, except for killing off one of my favorite actors after getting only one scene. Cautiously optimistic for ep.2.
