No kidding!

A friend of mine lost her long time lovebird last month. She was absolutely devastated.

Oh my goodness! 😍 he was gorgeous!

That’s crazy! Most dogs and cats are way more disruptive and destructive than many kinds of small to medium sized birds. It’s no longer legal to restrict animals from renting anymore in Canada, I believe.

That’s beautiful in its own right.

I’m sorry for your loss! It’s one of the reasons why I like the idea of having a parrot. So many people are afraid of long term commitments but I’m kind of the opposite. I dread losing a companion animal from day one. Cats and dogs don’t live long enough to me. Loss is so painful.

Just a week. I’ve wanted a bird for about a decade but because I have a kid and other animals I kept putting it off. I guess my husband thought enough with the incessant bird information video watching on YouTube already. So he surprised me with him last week. I’m so glad he did!
