this reminded me of his weird threatening christmas videos where he acted in-character with a role he got fired from

granted I have to queue up the file in VLC but that’s less work than dealing with any of the complexity/thoroughness of video editing apps

this is embarrassing but I’ve tried a lot of different editing tools and the fastest method I have right now is an OBS scene that captures from a VLC window playing the video. it loads and saves instantly. I’m sure there’s a loss in quality but when I’m uploading to apps they transcode it all anyway

I’ve thought about this an embarrassing amount, my workflow for this right now is a huge pain. Ideally it’d dump subtitles to VTT for here too
