I’ve been fairly lucky. My transmission was going on my truck before the wrangler at 130k miles. Knock on wood, I’ve never had any expensive repairs.

What vehicles are all these people driving that incur exorbitant repair and maintenance costs? My 2017 wrangler needs an oil change periodically, has 60k miles and I’ll likely drive it for another five years.

Or the vast amount of applications for the internal combustion engine. I’ll probably be long gone before electric boat engines can compete with gas/diesel.
