I want Ancient Serpent to make an appearance in Monster Hunter but the odds are so low considering there hasn't been an underwater combat mechanic since 3rd Gen (Tri & 3U).

I wonder what's going on. What's the timeline between these 2 games? just a headcanon I imagine no hunter took on this quest which is why it's still on the quest board.
