#blender lacks a way to transfer weights from mesh to #greasepencil. I've developed an addon that does that. Now you can easily drive Grease Pencil strokes with an existing #3D animation. Draw on the rest pose or on the animated mesh, the addon will reposition the strokes. I'll publish it soon.
