oof. I'm sorry to hear that, but I am not surprised. it's so incredibly fucked; the game is extremely appealing to transfems.. but the devs are so bigoted they hate the folks that love their game, and they're so butthurt by the attention they've started demonizing other indie games we like.

eh, they don't think of us as women to begin with. several instances of the phrase used male pronouns and referred to someone who was banned from the server, so I'm guessing they added misgendering to it, too.

Welcome. And yeah, I cut myself loose so I can't grab specific screenshots, but.. yeah. It's really tragic. I have 50+ hours in Peri and have gushed about it left and right, only to find the devs have been poisoned by the worst shit 4chan possesses. I eventually stopped digging for my mental health.

Add to that the possibility one of their stream moderators doxxed someone during a dev livestream on YouTube, and... yeah. Fucking nightmarish.

I verified this personally, searching the server history, and yep--lots of coded queerphobia, and tons of toxicity overall. There's a huge amount of hate for Signalis, which is almost always referred to with some mocking name, like they want to keep it unsearchable and insult it as much as they can.

I forgot Trump really is just a narcisstic opportunist with no real political vision. Something to be said for the "gotta be the last guy he talked to" theory, and Mamdani's charisma and ability to stay on-message. He's so good at quick witted comebacks it might have dissuaded Trump to be critical.
