Anyway, as much as it sucks to spend a holiday on forced bed rest…it’s much better than spending the holiday in the ER. Which I will have to do if I can’t keep water down.

Exactly! A scooter blocking the sidewalk is annoying, but I’ve seen them in the middle of bike lanes which is SO dangerous for everyone.

These scooters are just heavy bulky trash, littering up city sidewalks and streets. I hate them so fucking much — and yes, that very much includes the assholes who think they own the sidewalk bc they’re on a scooter.

I distinctly remember hearing folks say things to the effect of "but this is practically a stage!" about the new (current) Tiny Desk.
They weren't wrong, bc the old building was shaped like a pizza slice, and the eponymous desk was at the very tip of that slice.
