"socially conservative, fiscally liberal" lol, what the hell. How many drugs must one consume to come up with this shit. Also, I feel like someone did the whole nationalist socialism thingy before and it didn't go super well.

The cool thing about Generative AI is that it generates stuff. Now, is the stuff it generates the stuff I asked for? No. But that's the beauty of the technology. It doesn't give me what I want, nor does it give me what I need. It just gives me things.

This is the kind of statement I'd expect from a straight out of college intern whose rose tinted glasses I'm about to shatter. My guy, cybersecurity is a dumpster fire, nothing works how you expect, and app whitelisting is about 30 levels of effort above what the average company is doing.

My employer requested that I share our research blogs on Reddit. I initially pushed back because my past experience with Reddit has not been great to say the least. After 1 post, I'm adding a line to my contract that makes it a violation to ask me to use Reddit. Literally every single reply is this:

It's wild that they're trying to spin this as an immigration issue. The US dangled the promise of residency in front of Afghan nationals to get them to provide intelligence to the CIA. Then when the US botched the withdrawal, they created special frameworks to evacuate sources without proper vetting

For software developers: there's currently a highly sophisticated hacking group targeting developers with backdoored coding skills tests. They typically take the form of large source codes specific to your skillset. Please email any suspicious code to me on: [email protected]

Founders on LinkedIn still seem to be struggling with the difference between telling people about their humble beginnings and admitting to straight up committing fraud.

Twitter Conservatives finding out all the hot MAGA mom accounts they've been gooning to are actually run by men in developing nations

Not sure who made this, but probably the most accurate representation of the current state of tech to date

People kept claiming AI will enable malware to automatically rewrite itself to avoid antivirus detections. So to make a point l spend 30 minutes building this joke application. It rewrites itself ever 0.5 second, except without using AI. Every variant simply just outputs "Hello World".

This post from the President of Windows basically reads like someone trained an AI on those SF billboards that just say incomprehensible nonsense.

I like how the options were:
A) accept that Mamdani's proposals aren't radical, they're part of normal political discourse in lots of places.
B) claim they are radical.

But bro decided to come up with his own option:
C) defend the status quo by writing weird fanfic cope about how Obama is left wing

I love that the Boston cop slide never got fixed and now people just willingly go down it in tribute. It’s basically a national landmark at this point

Chronically online weirdos have basically created the liberal equivalent of those nonsense mainstream media posts about how "millennials are killing the socks industry" that were like crack cocaine for boomers.

lmao, Poland is so real for this

This is an excerpt from the original paper (which I'm convinced had to have been written using AI). Every single bullet point just says "X malware is a good/strong/excellent example of AI-powered ransomware", then they list normal ransomware feature and don't elaborate on why they think it was "AI".

The general manager of a US defense contractor selling sensitive stolen technology to Russia, then his seized assets being almost entire fake watches, is really something 😆

This is what announcing 30,000 layoffs does to your stock price in 2025. I fear AI mania has completely cooked investor’s brains

lol, got blocked. But yeah, it's ironic as the most problematic demographic is the one that's entirely motivated by fear. gays, trans people, antidepressants, liberals, "pot". vaccines. Would someone please think of the children? Posting this graph is more indicative of the problem than its content.
