When our city is easier for nurses, it’s #EasierForEveryone. I’m so grateful to have the support of these dedicated healthcare professionals as we work together to build a healthier, fairer, and more equitable New Orleans. 💙
manning4change.bsky.social
I also recently took the Patients Over Profits pledge, committing to refusing contributions from healthcare executives, lobbyists, and PACs. I’m the only candidate in this race who can make this pledge knowing I have never benefited from these corporate contributions — not once. 🙋🏾‍♂️

I’ve been proud to stand with the UMC nurses since their historic union recognition, which created LA’s largest new labor force in 50 years. When they went on strike to fight back against the unjust terminations, I joined them on the picket line to show my solidarity. 🪧

They know I will represent our city well when it comes to health, labor, and women’s issues, and they value my commitment to single-payer healthcare and clean money elections — issues that matter deeply to nurses and our community. 🩺

I’m honored to share that our campaign has been endorsed by the National Nurses Organizing Committee (NNOC) - LA, National Nurses United, a union and professional organization of Registered Nurses advocating for patients, direct-care nurses, and the nursing profession.🧵 @nationalnurses.bsky.social

We’re close to making real change for NOLA — a city where everyone has a voice & our utilities work for the people, not corporations.

“The Delta Utilities decision is why Pastor Manning is in the race. We did politics the way we were supposed to and hit a wall. That’s why we challenged JP.”

Thank you for highlighting our race, @veritenews.org 🙏🏿 #Manning4Change #GeauxVote

That $12 surcharge on your gas bill?💡💸 It came from the bad deal @jpmorrell.bsky.social’s council approved — selling Entergy’s gas to Delta.

My promise? I’ll forgive all utility debt, ban power shutoffs, & stop every rate increase & extra fee from Delta.

“We urge every voter: cast your vote for Manning. This is not just about replacing one councilmember with another—it’s about changing how the Council operates, restoring balance, & giving power back to the people. Manning deserves your support. Empower him to carry NOLA forward.”
manning4change.bsky.social
“Manning is not a novice. He has been a community servant for years—with boots on the ground efforts through Justice and Beyond and other advocacy work. His record shows he is not afraid to put his body—and his reputation—on the line for the people.”
manning4change.bsky.social
“When we examine the field of candidates in Division 2, one name rises above the rest: Gregory Manning. He brings the transparency, honesty, focus, diligence, and true heart for service that this city needs.”
manning4change.bsky.social
“For too long, the incumbent candidate @jpmorrell.bsky.social has wielded his position to serve narrow interests and obstruct the proper functioning of local government. From the moment he assumed his seat, he worked to weaken executive authority & micromanage the balance between branches.”
manning4change.bsky.social
Thank you, New Orleans Tribune! 🙏🏿

“Do not allow @jpmorrell.bsky.social… to fool you. None of his so-called accomplishments of the last four years served the people of this city. He engaged in petty political posturing & power plays for his own personal agendas. He does not deserve another term.”
