we all know what we'd find if we ran this through an ai-generated text detector. so I checked...and not only was it generated by AI...I rarely see so many 100% scores in a single query. This administration (plus Musk who retweeted the thread) is just a clown show.
The United States Trade Rep account on Twitter posted a thread supposedly spotlighting 10 unfair trade practices faced by American exporters. the 10 post thread is, retweeted by Elon Musk who said "Good points" is filled with errors and contradictory information, as pointed out in the original post. The screengrab is an image of the text of one of the thread posts ran through an AI generated text detector software and Phrasly.ai returned a score of 100% probability the post was generated by AI, with 3rd party AI scores from 6 different sources also denoting the same. The text was "The EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) imposes costly verification measures and could reduce U.S. exporters' advantage in the EU market over high-emissions competitors, namely China. These EU regulations undermine fair competition, penalizing U.S. companies while providing advantages to EU-based competitors. It is estimated the EU CBAM will impact $4.7 billion worth of annual U.S. exports."

mmhmm…pulled a similar quote from another story in Bloomberg earlier. it’s ok as long as Trump isn’t hurting them.

As a San Franciscan, let me explain the significance of this. 5 weeks ago I attended a protest at City Hall. I drove by the #TeslaTakedown event on my home and the sidewalk was PACKED in front of the dealership.

Just over a month later. This is a BIG deal. This is how you do it!

There are several of us on the block that take turns walking with my neighbor as she wants to get out but needs some support. During today’s walk we stopped periodically as needed. While we chatted I started taking pictures of trees. 🌳 🌲 🌴

Minneapolis you aren’t alone. My friend says in Maplewood “there are enough people here that there are state troopers + sheriff flagging traffic to slow it down so no one gets hit by a car.” This photo was taken very early in the protest with this week’s number dwarfing prior week.

On Thursday, 3/27/25 Trump signed a proclamation targeting WilmerHale, a law firm with ties to former special counsel Robert Mueller, making it the latest law firm to be a target for retribution.
