I know that it's all part of natural aging and illness and that this liver stuff isn't good, but it took me by surprise how old my hands are starting to look. Just all sucks sometimes. Gotta live hard while you can!

I'm accepting my fate here. Whatever temp it is outside, it's the same inside now. Getting down to 26 tonight. I have a thick sleeping bag, blankets under, in, and on it, gloves, hat, warmest jammies, thick socks. One night at a time and it'll be okay.

Had a similar project at the same time for Sturucture but you need to make a structural map, cross sections, and stereonets. Too much to handle all at once while sick! I am glad the department was so kind to let me do this when I was able to handle it. Learned much more this way!

It's not pretty (corner fault caused some suffering). Each number aligns with a hand sample and/or thin section. We needed to use them to understand the full geologic story. Also needed to 3 ternary diagrams. Genuinely so proud of this "A-level work"! New rocks and map for each new petro class.

Learning how to look at these and see a stories like panels in a comic strip, noting their placement in time by where we collected them. Slowly getting a grasp on this.
