Just over a week till legends za comes out so sorry if I go kinda pokemon pilled for a while

My first pseudoscorpion observation was pure luck. Happen to see this wasp and took a shot. It was only later did I see what was hanging on the antenna.

A lifer #butterfly for me today at @tapirvalley.bsky.social, the Zavaleta Glasswing (Godyris zavaleta). These are found mostly in Ecuador and Peru, and this was fun to see in #CostaRica

Continuing the series of caterpillars that look like candy, this pine sphinx larva looks very edible. I'm sure it's not, though 😂

Note that this species of hawkmoth larva does not have a "horn", so I guess it's not technically a "hornworm".

I hate that any time I mention liking wasps the immediate follow up question is "well have you ever been stung" as if being stung would change my opinion
If my pet cat scratches me that won't automatically make me hate cats now

Do you guys occasionally make "non Canon" oc ships?
Like in the Canon of my story marcel is dating slushie, but I still occasionally ship marcel with archer and pyro is a 3some just as like a "this is fun to thunk of but I have no plans to make it the Canon ship" or am I just weird

let me share a little story about a remarkable wasp that I encountered yesterday in our local deserts

I stumbled across her, and scrambled to get a few crappy photos .... but then realized that she had a burrow, perhaps a better photo op was possible ??
