Had a wonderful time at my first ever @primatesocietygb.bsky.social Winter Meeting in Cardiff.

It was so fun to present my first findings from our fieldwork earlier this year 🐵🇬🇦 Co-authors @perrinetheroude.bsky.social @gillyforrester.bsky.social and the Lekedi park team!

So fun to present my research to two classes of @tulaneu.bsky.social students about my journey into primatology and my current research using thermal camera to understand stress in great apes 📸🐵 Thank you so much to my dear friend @nickchapoy.bsky.social for inviting me!

Movie night for the chimps at Lekedi! 🍿🐵 #fieldwork

We're using our emotive video stimuli to understand how it affects changes in facial blood flow #thermalimaging

Excited to see what we find! #wellbeing #research #uniofsussex

First father-daughter half marathon ✅ 🏃🏃‍♀️

Spent this last Sunday running around the muddy & icy hills and fields of Winchester and I loved *almost* every minute.

This was technically my new year's resolution for 2024...but this counts, right?

And that's a wrap on my first human study! ✅

I am so grateful for these three, absolute dream team! We've been spending the last few weeks attempting to stress humans out, and seeing how it looks on our thermal camera 📸Verrry curious to see the results, but for now, we celebrate! 🍻

Happy #WorldMonkeyDay 🐒 Picture taken from my first experience of fieldwork with Projet Mandrillus (2011-2022)🇬🇦 At the time, this was the group's alpha male, no surprise why!

Excited to be heading back to this park in a few weeks, this time to spend some time with the gorillas and chimps 🦍

Hello blue sky!👋

I'm so excited to be part of this new community. I am currently working on my PhD, using thermal cameras to understand great ape well-being 🐵📹🤓

Stay tuned for upcoming field antics, in the mean time, enjoy this #throwback from my field season with Projet Mandrillus
