The 5th Syrian War Campaign initial setup.
The campaign will start in 200BC with the Seleucid forces led by Antiochus the Great (red counters) attempting to invade Ptolemaic held Coele-Syria (yellow counters).

Anybody out and about in Newark on Saturday night? No Lets Xscape cafe opening so will probably stay in the Rupert?

Love this! Proper old school. Imperial Fists too! 😍

In a nutshell, yes. Plenty of reading. Identify the key elements you want to focus on. Try to work out the right way to represent them while still making the game fun and playable.

Romans all done ready for the weekend! Hooray!

I did use ‘wrote’ twice and both times autocorrect changed it!!! Grrrr!

Well I write the rules so I’m a bit biased! Yes, it’s a good scale for most battles at 1/2400, although I’m playing this at a 1:1 ratio I need to play some of the really epic battles at about 1:4.

Strength and Honour will be here in the Lard Zone at The Other Partizan this weekend rocking two participation games. One naval and one land based. Come and say hello or join in for a quick game.

First town bases done. I'll start on the next one during the week. A bit amateur in places but I'm happy with it

Look perfect for some early Medieval Strength and Honour. I might need to get some!

Really nice. Are they Pendraken?

Nice work with an obvious doth of the cap to Ruglud’s armoured Orcs.

Battle is joined! Warlord epic scale Strength and Honour playtest.

Great job Iain. It’s something I think I’d enjoy making too.

Thanks Richard! I’m really chuffed with them!

I’ve managed to get the flock-box out and completed the basing on these at last. So at least the Gauls are ready for The Other Partizan in a fortnight!

I just joined the Germans for a game and we were stopped for the 4th time! We were also brutally repulsed. There was a close tipping point when we nearly had them, but then it fell apart with a French double phase followed by an end of turn and they won fire superiority where it counted. Fun game

Gembloux Gap first table take 4. I’ve been roped in to help the Germans. Just working out the Stuka attack!

Experimenting with a smaller 60mm frontage and basing for the ancient rowie/ram-ie boat game for possible Strength&Honour naval supplement/hail Agrippa game. Photographing 1/2500 boats is hard. Experimenting with @handiworkgames.bsky.social backdrop to give them a bit of context

Base them how you like. For the SandH naval rules just put 3-4 ships together as a unit and you are good to go!

They never match your sea cloth the little buggers!
