I was in New Orleans last weekend for Decadence. One of the loudest responses from the 90% non-hetero crowd was to the Palestinian Flag, with those along the route cheering "Free Palestine!"

I had some great shoes while walking the 2000-mile(3,200 KM) US-MEXICO border, but this has been my last 3 pair of Danner boots. Guess I need to find a new brand.

Poor Blackberry. We hardly knew you. Our daughter rescued you from the roadside after you were hit by a car and knocked senseless. She brought you home and left you on a chair while doing an errand, and you were subsequently eaten by our rescue kitten-Galaxy.

We found a tiny, nonvenomous snake in the garden. I showed it to the kids, and then we released it. They know that all life is precious.
