One of the most shocking things to me is how tenuous our democracy has been my entire lifetime. I used to believe that the US had a much stronger foundation. Imperfect, sure, but solid. The last year has proven that was an illusion. Any small group could have derailed us with minimal resistance.

I'm glad Trump & Kegbreath called them in today and told them their plan to use the Armed Forces to kill American citizens. If there was any uncertainty among our military leaders, Trump's intentions should be clear now. The next few days should tell us if they have our backs or if we're on our own.

I'm glad Trump & Kegbreath called them in today and told them their plan to use the Armed Forces to kill American citizens. It hasn't gone unnoticed that 90% of these violent outbursts are directed at women. For all of their tough guy bravado, most of these ICE agents make sure that they attack soft targets. They're fake badasses. It's the same reason it takes 6-8 of them to arrest some lone dishwasher taking a cig break

At this point, there is nothing that can be said to any MAGA, whether on X, Bluesky, or any other sm, that is going to get them to change their beliefs. MAGA has been distilled to its purest form. All I can see in their future is a big fall that will end in mass violence, followed by mass suicide.

Honestly, I'm shocked at the lack of mass protests. When we had the No Kings rallies I felt like 'OK, we've got this. The people are waking up.' But that was months ago and more attacks on our freedoms than I can remember. We've seemed to have collectively gone back to sleep. I don't get it. At all.
