seems to be - Etzebeth was walked off down the tunnel as per then bizarrely was back on the pitch for the end of game handshakes. Frosty to say the least between him.and Mann and surprised it didn't kick off - Etzebeth should not have been anywhere near the pitch after the red card

and yeah I know (as a photographer) that a single frame cannot tell the full story but this will certainly quash any defence of it being accidental. Utterly horrendous

Didn't see the Rassie interview but this what the BBC reporting - no provocation that i saw in the game can excuse that action

Honestly hope they throw a career ending ban at him - and fair play to Rassie with (most) of what he said. For the good of SA Rugby he should tell Eben it's over and he won't be selected again.

yep he has a history unfortunately. And this time there is no doubt it was deliberate, the thumb clearly targeted the eye and bent in with pressure. I have no idea what goes thru any players brain to decide to do that - never mind at 70+ points up with a minute left.

No criticism of SA rugby from me, as an Englishman, but that was far beyond what is acceptable. I hope he gets a lengthy ban, may even be the end of a career given his age, but that should not detract from what you guys are doing

with what should be a minimum 6 month ban, there is no defence given his thumb was directly on and then bent into the eye, it may well be the end. If so he ends the way he started, as a thug

it was 100% intentional and deliberate, thumb bent into the eye - there interoperability defence and if World Rugby bottle this they have zero integrity left

totally intentional yes. He was a thug when he started but reined that in and was a hell of a player for years. But today im afraid sullies everything - and at 34 he's not far off the end anyway

such as? whatever may have happened to wind him up, and its not that hard to do, you absolutely 100% do not do that, an utter non-negotiable on the rugby pitch. There is no defence and he'll be heading for a very lengthy period out of the game

other than he got away with it on the Lions tour! No doubt about Etzebeth tho - the biggest no on a rugby pitch and he should be banned for 6+ months. A minute to go, 70+ up and he does that - utter brainfart

yep my wife has one , great car to drive, tho not on full EV platform but .... been in doctors surgery for 2 weeks for 2nd time with same issue, so rejection imminent, and customer service has been worse than utterly woeful
