John is the most annoying Beatle by a wide margin, but I'm sorry to report that a big part of what makes him so annoying is that he is cool. Like it's infuriating how he could pull off a fur coat, mutton chops, and tiny circle glasses.

My kid (8) liked it but I toss random Marvel's Greatest Comics reprints at him as often as I can. I think the Marvel cultural domiance is just kinda done in general and specifically with kids because it's aiming for 40 year olds now.

I appreciate why the "other scenes" list is what it is, but it'd be so cool if they slipped in Dorothy opening the door to Oz or the diner scene from Heat just to see who's paying attention.

Got my eye on that one, a Retroid Mini, and a MiSTer. If I get all three then I'll be a happy and normal person until there's a consensus around all these new DS handhelds.

The real answer is Star Trek (2009), as it was both a good movie and successful at bringing the Trek franchise back around after being dormant.

My town's dollar theater is an evangelical church now which is a real bummer but I like to think about how many exorcisms they had to perform when they converted it.
