I had to say goodbye to the world’s best princess cat yesterday. Zelda was with me all of her 17 years, or essentially half my life—longer than I’ve known anyone else except family. I still expect to find her in her couch spot or following me around the kitchen for a snack.
I’ll miss you, Zelda.
