I moved to Finland with my wife and daughter, and then last week started my new job as Senior UI Developer @remedygames.com

Just worked through the first part of the hard surface modelling course from @blendersecrets.bsky.social and loved it! Learned so much good stuff and am looking forward to part 2.

Probably took on a bit much for a weekly challenge, but I’m working on an SLS-like rocket, using a sub-d workflow (slowly get the hang of it I think).

I’ll also later try texturing it with my own substance designer like tool I’m working on for a while now :D

Depending on how it goes I would also like to add some of the life boat interior, as seen in the picture.

As my ultimate goal then is to add animations and make it interactive.

The current idea is to replicate the life boat lock area from the Nostromo, when the ship was still called the Leviathan.

This is the amazing sketch from Ron Cobb I’ll use for that.

I finally continued work on my "Ron Cobb inspired" Alien environment. I started what feels like forever ago with the bulkhead door.

I'm thinking about if I should redo the door ^^ I'd like some better decals and simplify it a bit for use in a game engine.

MyMuse, motivational quote player, I created for my weekly challenge in Blender. A handheld device that'll play inspirational and motivational quotes exclusively. Its advanced software will always produce the right quote for the right situation. The mono headphone helps to not get too distracted.

Made some Death Stranding inspired cases as one of my weekly challenges. Even though it looks simplistic it took me a while with a proper sub-d workflow as a beginner 😅 Modelled and textured all in Blender. #blender3d
