Reddit is basically the exact same site it was in 2018, which is unambiguously good

I think the insane, unpopular ardent zionist beholden to his made-up republican tulpa family should be primaried.

I don't really think this follows. The US has a primary system for exactly this reason, and the Dem leadership that people are (rightly) mad at mainly resides in deep-blue seats.

Oh no, I'm talking about this garbage when I say "box truck".
November 27, 2025 at 9:16 PM
In my experience it's just guys who bought the cheapest box truck they could find who then load everything that fits into it, tbh
November 27, 2025 at 8:47 PM
"Gross axle weight rating is a suggestion"
November 27, 2025 at 8:41 PM
The number of GMC 3500 box trucks I see in *awful* shape because they're simply not rated to do box truck things..
November 27, 2025 at 8:14 PM
I'd settle for new car buyers learning to at least have some fucking restraint, tbh.
November 27, 2025 at 8:05 PM
"Wow I can't believe I'm getting awful interest on this $110,000 truck I need"

Oh man that's awful, it sucks for owner-operators now especially with the running costs on a typical Mack or Volvo-

"What? No this is my emotional support Denali 1500"
November 27, 2025 at 8:04 PM
Funniest part of that genre is the extremely good odds it's not even a dually or anything, just a half ton crew cab.

"Truck bros" paying crazy money for something that would fall apart if they hauled/towed more than twice a year.
November 27, 2025 at 7:57 PM
They went from "chief strategic rivals" to "fighting and dying in shared trenches" in the span of like, 20 years!
November 27, 2025 at 4:45 PM
Tangential, but the whole "Agent Krasnov" thing strikes me as a very deep misunderstanding of how political corruption in general and (Donald Trump's mind specifically) works.
November 27, 2025 at 3:53 PM
Dying for the oil companies to have one look and immediately nope out, even. Total fucking farce.
November 27, 2025 at 2:22 PM
they think they're at war, basically
November 27, 2025 at 12:56 AM
They're talking about differentiating US from North/South America
November 26, 2025 at 11:28 PM
I for one think the US should probably stop paying soldiers in Afghanistan
November 26, 2025 at 8:47 PM
As I understand it, even if China isn't comfortable with invading immediately, you run the risk of them attempting to destroy your nuclear program with air strikes while said nuclear program *also destroys your allies' security guarantees*.

No one is going to need to know anything at all about LLMs to use them if every modern Windows and Mac has it built in and running locally.
November 26, 2025 at 7:42 PM
Yes, since you can still run a useful AI model on a modest gaming PC.
November 26, 2025 at 5:42 PM
Your argument, as I see it, is "make school less coddling so children learn to face consequences for antisocial behavior". The only interpretation of that that makes sense is rolling back 20 years of anti-bullying programs, which would not work and make peoples' lives worse.
November 26, 2025 at 4:49 PM
1) We already know how to put a stop to that behavior, and it isn't "counter-bullying from their peers", which does not fucking work.

2) How do you determine which children are evil and deserve bullying?
November 26, 2025 at 4:45 PM
I don't think that'll happen - you can still run a very useful LLM chatbot either locally or on relatively cheap hardware. You might see a retreat from the *truly* big ones outside of specific business applications but the market for ChatGPT in some form is here to stay
November 26, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Filing this one under "analogies only komodo dad would make"
November 26, 2025 at 4:17 PM
Oh ok!
