Bit of #pubdev on @positrongame.com today between cinema visits. Fixed a bug where the orb would be too high to collect sometimes in Snake mode, and increased the attraction distance as you approach too.

I'm not even sure I'm going to bother with a tree or decorations when I move, so it was nice to be able to put up the tree in the @rebellion.com North office today :-)

Saw this in the Post Office this morning over the self-service machines, which apparently can't perform one of the major advertised features, and can only post certain things. Haha.

The absolute best feeling when you're demoing a game at a show, is when someone scans the qr code, hits the buy button, and purchases a copy of your game right there and then.

Ah, of course. "Crash in less than 0.5 seconds" achievement was literally crashing our MCM / EGX demo yesterday, due to not having Steam running. Fixed now, new demo on the PC ready for a busy Saturday :-) #GameDev #IndieDev #MCM #EGX

Considering Friday is the quiet day for MCM Birmingham Comic Con, we had a pretty good day. Steady stream of players throughout the day. Gave out maybe 50 of our flyers, and one person bought a copy of the game.

Tomorrow should be good. I need to hand out more of the flyers to people passing by :-)

Of course there's a crash bug when you finish a level! In my EGX / MCM demo.

The PC doesn't have Steam, and it's trying to set the leaderboard score. Got the laptop out, wrapped some code & put together a new build. Copied to the PC and fixed it.

Life on the front lines, haha!

I'm considering making a single level playable demo of @positrongame.com that runs in browser, to attract more players to the full version on Steam. Shouldn't be too difficult as I made a simple level preview in WebGL ten years ago. martincaine.com/webgl/positr...
