Probably in a few years time, but it depends on plans of private owner. This was an emergency intervention. The area was planted woodland on downland, cleared to create a link along slope. Some grazing would be ideal, but currently little grass so difficult to arrange.

Yes. It is complicated because most semi-natural sites in the south are only 20-30ha, and privately owned so getting the right management is very tricky! This site has been rescued by a small band of @dorsetbutterflies.bsky.social volunteers working over 40 years. But they have saved aurinia
